ParkHelp and Norsk Butikksikkerhet AS in cooperation with Onepark AS to provided Ultrasonic Parking Guidance for the Technopolis building in Fornebu, Norway
Employees and visitors of the Technopolis business park in Fornebu, Norway, will be able to park smarter, as well, now that ParkHelp and Norsk Butikksikkerhet AS have completed the installation of the ultrasonic parking guidance system and LED signage for 1146 parking spaces in the complex. The order was placed to Norsk Butikksikkerhet AS by Onepark AS which is the managing company on contract from with Techopolis.
Technopolis makes business easier, smarter, and more sustainable, offering companies the possibility to find working space and offices in the 22 smart business parks they own and operate across Finland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, and Russia. The building in Fornebu used to be the arrivals and departure lounge at the old Oslo airport until it was moved to Gardermoen in 1998 and has been rebuilt with high-standard offices and meeting rooms. ParkHelp’s parking guidance systems becomes, therefore, part of a wide range of extras and technologies that help improve the excellent service Technopolis offers at Fornebu.
1146 ultrasonic sensors have been installed on three different levels of the business park’s parking garage, and Technopolis clients and users can from now on benefit from the most effective parking guidance system on the market. But what really makes the project stand out is the customized indoor signage that was created especially for the Fornebu complex. Most of the display compositions are more than 4 feet long and one of them even exceeds the length of 7 feet, which is far above standard. It was worth every effort, though, as the result looks simply spectacular.
