Role summary
We are looking for a hands-on Sales Director to drive new business growth across North America. This role is focused on building a qualified pipeline, leading complex sales cycles, and closing new opportunities with municipalities, universities, parking operators, airports, healthcare systems, and enterprise accounts.
The ideal candidate is commercially driven, comfortable selling technical solutions, and able to move opportunities from initial engagement through signed agreement.
What matters
· You build a pipeline instead of waiting for leads.
· You take ownership of sales opportunities from first conversation to close.
· You are direct, disciplined, and accountable for moving deals forward.
· You can sell both the business value and the technical value of our solutions.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of parking sales experience, preferably in technology, mobility, smart city, SaaS, IoT, or infrastructure-related solutions.
- Proven ability to generate pipeline, manage complex sales cycles, and close new business.
- Experience selling technical solutions that may include hardware, software, data, and services.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage decision-makers, technical stakeholders, procurement teams, and operational leaders.
- Self-starter with the discipline to work independently, create momentum, and consistently move opportunities forward.
- Comfortable operating in a remote environment and traveling frequently across the USA and Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline across municipalities, universities, parking operators, airports, healthcare systems, and enterprise accounts.
- Own the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Lead technical and commercial conversations with executives, parking leaders, procurement teams, consultants, and technical stakeholders.
- Position Cleverciti and ParkHelp solutions across parking guidance, occupancy detection, curb management, digital signage, analytics, and software platforms.
- Respond to RFPs and structured procurement opportunities in partnership with internal technical, product, and proposal teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, forecasts, deal stages, and next steps while consistently driving opportunities forward.
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, conferences, site visits, and partner discussions across the USA and Canada.
Preferred qualifications
- Existing relationships with cities, universities, parking operators, transportation agencies, airports, or large campus environments.
- Experience selling parking guidance, LPR, occupancy detection, digital signage, enforcement, payment, curb management, or mobility technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of public procurement, RFPs, pilots, proof-of-concept deployments, and multi-stakeholder buying processes.
- Experience selling SaaS, IoT, smart city, mobility, or infrastructure-adjacent solutions with both hardware and software components.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while coordinating closely with technical, operations, product, and executive teams.
What we offer
- High-impact role helping scale our North American business across the USA and Canada.
- Clear ownership of territory, pipeline, and new business growth with direct visibility to senior leadership.
- Competitive compensation with performance-based upside tied to sales results.
- Opportunity to sell a differentiated parking technology platform across hardware, software, data, and smart mobility solutions.
- Flexible remote working model with a high-trust, direct-feedback culture.
- Opportunity to help shape our North American sales strategy as the business continues to expand.
