Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Field Technician. As a Field Technician at ParkHelp, you will travel to worksites to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections of our parking systems. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work efficiently with no supervision, and be willing to support a strong team made up of great talent. The field technician reports to the local project manager.

The Field Technician is a Los Angeles based position

What you will do

Respond to service and maintenance requests and schedule repairs
Travel to client sites to perform maintenance on hardware and equipment for parking system
Perform tests and diagnostics to ensure parking system is in good working order, and updating customer on repair status
Electrical terminations for parking equipment
Assist project manager by supporting subcontractors during parking system installations
Coordinate with support experts in Spain
Willing to travel domestically to different project sites as needed

What You Have Done

Minimum of five years’ experience performing repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment, and software related systems
Knowledge of electrical systems
Familiar with using electrical meter to test power
Experience using common hand and power tools
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software
Ability to read drawings
Knowledge of common online applications i.e., Gmail, Microsoft Office, Slack, Zoom, etc.
Basic IT experience
Good written and verbal communication skills

Education / Certifications

High School Diploma / GED
Certified C10 Electrician in the state of CA
